Grants

Each year the Executive Board has the difficult, but enjoyable task of allocating proceeds of the annual banquet. Soon after everything is totaled up from the year’s dinner, the grant application period begins.
Since the beginning, BASA has attempted to maximize donations to groups and organizations, primarily local to Coos County, OR., with an emphasis on outdoor recreation and youth. Stronger consideration has been given to requests for capital expenditures, as opposed to working capital requests.
BASA attempts to fund only those groups that benefit or represent the best interest of the majority of their general membership.
